OSD means Offset Soundhole Dreadnought
OSD is an acoustic guitar clearly inspired by the best-selling models in history, with the classic “bell” shape and a legendary sound in the history of music.
Liuteria Cocopelli builds this model favoring a cutaway shape and a displaced soundhole, with the aim of making a larger area of the soundboard vibrate and therefore broadening the sound spectrum .
The particular design forced the luthier to modify the classic bracing, thus discovering a more equalized sound, without too much bass or ringing highs: the volume and the sustain they gain the most from it.
All OSD models have a cutaway,24 total frets with the neck joint at the 14th, it is possible to choose during construction to have a armrest to comfortably rest your right arm.
The OSD acoustic guitar is widely customizable with a wide variety of woods and inlays, as well as amplifiable with your favorite system.
The particular construction of the top differentiates this guitar model from similar Dreadnoughts for greater homogeneity of sound: the soundhole decentrated does not interrupt the vibrations of the board and allows for excellent sustain and a better mix of frequencies
